A warm spring day!

Hello guys! (^w^)/

Today we took a went to Hoshikawa to register ourselves at the ward office and get the national health insurance! It took about 20-30min to get there and with a cold drink in hand there is nothing better than a walk in the hot spring weather.

In a corner on the way there we found a bunch of birdcages with lots of cute birds in them!
I just wanted to take them all home with me mwaha~ >w<!!

After that we took the train to Yokohama because I needed to buy a hairdryer. Just outside the exit we choose I found this taiyaki stand and I've been wanting to try one for soo long!!

This is a taiyaki! The "bread" is basically pancake/waffle batter and on the inside there is sweet read bean paste(Anko in japanese)! There is alot of other fillings too but I think this is the most common!
I love anko and this tasted sooooo delicious~

We walked around town and Daniel found himself a pair of headphones since we don't want to disturb our housemates with our loud music! We also bought alot of food on the way home so our fridge doesn't look as empty anymore haha!

I can't wait for Monday to come, I want to start school and get some kind of routine going. I'm loving everything but right now it still feels like I'm on vacation haha! At least we got our mail today from school saying that both me and Daniel are in the same class yay!~ Super excited!

See ya soon~ baibai!

Soon off to Yokohama!

So we've been here in Tokyo for about four days now. We have been sightseeing and visiting the places we've missed since we where here the last time. I hope you guys have been watching my videos, I've put one up every day since we got here(accept for today), It's been fun and we've eaten alot of good food but tomorrow it's time for serious business!!
Tomorrow morning we're taking an early train to Yokohama, it's time for us to find our school, take our placement test and then move into our new room! I'm excited but at the same time pretty nervous even though there's nothing to be worried about. This so called placement test is just to let the school know how much we already know(or don't know hehe) so they can put us in the right course level.
We really start school(classes) on 8th of April! Until then there is some stuff we have to do, getting cellphones, make ourselves at home in the new room and I think we're going to buy bicycles too! :D

Yeah, I still can't believe I'm here, feels like a dream! I hope that this year can give me some clarity in what I want to do with my life. Being here just makes me think a lot about that haha.
We haven't done anything special today since it's been raining all day. We just decided to stay at the hotel, watch TV and prepare for tomorrows trip.
I think I'm going to go to sleep soon because I'm really tired though, so much to do tomorrow!
G'night people!

Live the dream!!

Right now I'm at Incheon airport in Seoul, Korea. We're gonna transfer to Tokyo in a few hours. We have been walking around alot so we just sat down to let our feet rest a bit.
Looking out through these gigantic airport windows, seeing the beautiful south korean landscape in the distance really makes my mind go!
There's a jumbo just outside with big letters written on it saying "Korean air". Is this all a dream? How did I get here? I can't help but to think of all those other people out there with their big dreams... It can all come true if we really put ourself into it!
We were put into this world and were given dreams and hopes that you can do anything you want! Later on in life we realize that it isn't that easy and sometimes, dare I say it?, it feels impossible. Then there are those whom don't give up! I want to be one of those people! And I think everyone who wants it can make it happen!!
Live the dream people!! And never give in to what other people thinks you can and can't do, should or shouldn't with your life!
Sandra out!!~

5 Days...

I'm counting down every day now! Still a lot of things to be done in these couple of days but nothing we can't handle. On tuesday we're off to Stockholm to get our student visas and on wednesday night we're on our way to the airport! I'm not even sure how to feel at this point.
All we can do now is wait and prepare stuff and by stuff I mean shopping for things I need haha.
As you may know Sweden is quite cold at the moment but spring is already in Tokyo! So therefor I decided to spend some money on outerwear because I think it's important and I will use it alot!

Here's a pair of shoes I found on sale from Din sko the other day! I saw them on the shelf and immediately know they were for me! I was looking for some kind of leather boot with or without a platform.

And since I only got a big fuzzy winter coat I decided to get this amazing jacket! I love the contrast between the leather and denim! I think it gives it the little extra BAM to it!~ This I found at H&M!

Next update is probably when we're in Japan... but I maybe I'll write something small before that!
See ya! ;3

Hopefully they're done sometime next week so we can go get them as soon as possible becuse geeze... it's only 14 days left until we're off! I'm starting to feel it~!
We went shopping for stuff we need for the trip today aswell! Toothbrushes, deodorant and so on. Tomorrow we're going to start packing I think! To fit my whole life in a bag feels kinda wierd but I'm sure I'll manage!

Our upcoming living space!

Hello!
Long time no see... We had some complications with our Japan trip but it's all good now!
Right now we're on track an everything is well, we also got some exciting news yesterday! Our company(That's helping us with everything) sent us an option of where we could live during our stay in Yokohama. We just fell in love with the place right away! It's a good location and the rent suits us perfectly! We also got our wish granted to live in a share house with other people! So we have our own room but we share the other spaces like the kitchen, livingroom and bathroom. So excited!! Heres two pictures of the room!
It's only 21 days left until we're on our way... It's crazy...<3

Also my computer is busted so I'm going to have to buy a new one before the trip... Currently blogging from my phone haha :<

Time for an update :3

Oh hi...
Yeah it's been a while hasn't it? I promised myself this wouldn't happen again but it seems like it's inevitable? I need some time off blogging from time to time I guess haha. So yeah, merry late christmas to you all! I hope you all got alot of good food and some spanktastic new objects from santa this year!(Whats wrong with me today?)
Well, the Japan adventure draws near and I'm feeling it! I'm already starting to get nervous. Not only because of all the exciting things we're going to do but also the explosion of work that needs to be done before the trip over there. All the paperwork, what should we bring?, where should we live?, getting the loan up and going and all that jazz. Well, our lovely company Gogonihon.com is going to help us alot but there is still alot to do ourselves! Still pretty excited about it though tihi >w<
Oh, and I just realized I haven't told you guys what school we're going to?! Here it is!!

Yokohama Design College
Looks so cool right?! We had one demand when looking for schools, it had to be close to Tokyo! At first we were looking at schools in the area but none of them really made us go "Wow, I wanna go there!!" So we found this cute school in Yokohama and we love love love it!(From what we can see from the video at least.) We both love art and design so this was an obvious choice for us!

It's 01:27 here in Sweden now so I should probably go to sleep now. It's new year tomorrow(Today) and I'm so exciteeeed!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU<3

It's been 2 months since I stopped eating candy. It hasn't been that difficult in the long run! The only thing I've noticed is that it gets really hard when something is emotionally challenging! For example when I had that "out of this world essay" to write. I was so down and even cried at one point. At that time I was craving sweets so so so bad!! It felt like if I just could have some chocolate or chips everything would be easier, the problems would go away. Well, we all know that's not true. It really shows just how much treats controls my mind. I think alot of other people have this problem aswell.
That's why I'm still doing this. At some points I've been just like "Fuck it! I'm gonna eat some cookies RIGHT NOW! I give up!" but then, even though it's only been 2 months, I think about how far I've come and that if I do that now, all of it would have been for nothing. Or am I even doing something that will benefit me in the end? Sometimes I ask myself why I still do this, life is too short and one should indulge in it all instead of restraining oneself this way. It's only half a year though, does it even matter? I don't know.
All I know is that I started this and I'm almost halfway, why not just do it? That's pretty much what I think of it right now. Just get it over with.

Here's an example of what I had to endure watching other people eat...

I'm not gonna lie...it was pretty painfull...
